I live in Asia(Philippines) and am traveling to the US which mostly hold their appliances and gadgets plugged at 110v. I am bringinging beside me stuff like a laptop and mobile phone which are plugged within a 220/240v electrical outlet; hence, i want to know if what voltage of transformer will I need surrounded by the US so i could recharge these gadgets if ever I run out of battery-operated life. Thanks for any lend a hand.
Answers: Most gadgets approaching laptops cell phones etc are actually DC and simply plug into AC to recharge their batteries. If you look at the battery or on the data plates most of them say aloud 110/220 I just checked my laptop, cellphone and electric blade all enunciate 110/240 if yours are they will recharge off any current and you wont need a transformer of late a plug adapter. unless you are trying to run an actual AC appliance. In which case you are pretty much better rotten just buying one here. As AC transformers are expensive.
