Why aren't near such things as Lithium-Ion AA battery?



Answers:    Excellent question. Usually Lithium Ion battery (~14V)have a higher voltage than your standard AA mobile (1.5V). Other than this I can't see the benefit of it.
to use an analogy Lithium Ion is like a Ford RS200. Immensely powerful but solitary for a short time and Alkaline battery are like a Diesel Car. Won't win lots races but will later a long time.
