Navigation systems?
Answers: I own a TomTom 720 and for me the deciding factor be for the price the TomTom has more features , widescreen its much better, once you procure the 3.5 inch screen contained by your car it will look so much smaller you'd longing you had bought the 4.3, bluetooth, paw free calling and traffic update including weather from your cell phone , as this may not sound resembling something you'd be interested in, the one time you look at some POI and you can call for them right from the gps screen its worth it, if you are surrounded by trouble you can phone the police or tow truck right from the TomTom screen, TomTom uses tele-atlas it more up to date than garmins navteq map ,oh and TomTom uses mapshare so you can allways have the most up to date map ,FM transmitter plays you MP3's, audio books and text to speech right over your FM stereo contained by your car ,
TomTom is the most popular GPS system surrounded by the world , in europe they don't phone call it a GPS they call it a TomTom, I go to my friends house last dark and I know he lives in a topical sub-division so I typed the address into the TomTom and there it be, the address not to mention the whole east module of that city didn't even show up on his garmin 350, he's going out to buy a TomTom after christmas and try to sell his garmin. Anyway I hope that help, P.S next time you see a police or ambulance ask them which GPS they use. and next go out and buy youself a TomTom and be content....Ren Oh I forgot to mention that the option that you require are singular available on the TomTom not Garmin and also the garmins have be having allot of problems lately....I'd beware and read some blogs on the web about litter I mean garmin
Why not in recent times use your car radio for weather info? Other than that I hold used the Garmin 330 for two years.
The least expensive fitting one is Garmin. The 200W (W for wide). It has a anti-glare peak which is important. It slips slickly in and out of the rack so that you can beat it up under your feeler on short notice surrounded by traffic. It can be hidden underneath the seat or taken from the vehicle when not in use. GPS is a popular pocketing item.
The more you use GPS the more tricks that you find --- It tells U continuously when you are going to arrive at the preferred destination. It gives you actual speed and direction.
If you own typed several destinations into it you can punch up those destinations it will show you seven or eight of them at a time and the distance and direction to those sites. You may then choose the closest, subsequent closest, etc., for efficient travel.
The more expensive unit will assemble a route of several destinations for you, closest, next closest, etc.
I drilled two holes contained by my dashboard top and thus mounted the unit a foot closer to me than the windshield/suction cup opening. The suction cup/windshield mount is not legal surrounded by my state (California). It will also work (on battery) when simply lying in front of the gas measuring device with no mount at adjectives.
You may select "avoid unpaved roads" and other items, from experience. One thing; it automatically re-routes you stern to your destination if you get stale course. In many cases you are better past its sell-by date just making a U-turn if you are aware thatyou get off course. Also, and highly basic: it does NOT let somebody know you where the stop signs are. You still hold to use some brain!
