Why when I tilt the volume on my home entertainment system , does the key power component stir out?

First of all , anyone that can relieve , thank you very much. Ok , so I own a JVC DVD entertainment system connected to my living room TV. When the volume gets too loud they system shuts past its sell-by date. This forces me to take out the power supply plug , and put it surrounded by and out untill it turns back on. Anyone out here know what this is ?? I have owned the component for about 2 years and nought like this have ever happened? Again , any assist is greatly appriciated =)

Answers:    When volume goes up, the part draws more current, which triggers a self protective mechanism to turn rotten so that you don't damage it.

There is a criticize with any the power supply, the voltage regulators (more current comes out than it should), or the current protection circuitry (false detect), so time to call service.
