My friend in Germany have many American DVDs that she cannot monitor because of the region differences in the DVDs/DVD players. So for her birthday, I looked-for to send her an American DVD player. She have a plug converter, so she should be able to plug it into the wall. But will it attach correctly to a German TV? and how much would it cost (approx) to ship it over in that? Thanks.

The cheapest option is a Asian DVD player that plays any DVD available contained by places like Singapore, China for in the order of $50.
