What Is the difference between Blu-Ray and HD DVD?
Answers: If you do not have a HD TV after there will be no difference between a mundane dvd and a HD/Blu Ray dvd. You need a HDTV to see the difference within quality , And i enjoy to say a HDTV near a PS3 makes one hell of a difference , everything is much clearer and brighter and colourfull , and thats at 720p.
The principal difference between HDDVD and Blu-Ray would be the fact that HDDVDs store up to 30gbs and Blu-Ray stores up to 50gb and can be used for games aswell , They are also created by different companys , Toshiba and Hitachi created HD DVD , Sony and Philips created Blu-Ray , Different motion picture companys are support the different formats with with the sole purpose 1 or 2 supporting them both which means the capacity of films that appear on Blu-Ray will vary to the length of Films that appear on HD DVD , Blu-Ray would probably have more of a choice of films since more show companys are supporting it.
