IPod sound out bit II?

my daughter had a mp3 player near a lot of songs, we transferred the songs to her iPod, but when she tries to play the song from her iPod, we see no songs. But when we travel the PC we can display all of the copied songs and see the title and play the songs. Does an iPod not display "mp3" extension files on the iPod.

Answers:    The iPod doesnt display the .mp3 extension because it doesn't display the filenames. Instead it organize the songs by the Artist, Album, and Name, which is built into the songs.

What you need to do is, within iTunes, add the Artist and Albums for adjectives the songs that are in that. This will allow you to see them in the organized iPod structure.

You should also already be able to see the songs if you step into Music --> Songs.
It depends how you transferred your songs onto the iPod - make sure you do it through iTunes. You can't purely drag and drop using Windows Explorer (in Windows) or Finder (in Mac OS X). Plug in the ipod, unseal itunes, and you should be prompted to set up the ipod.
