The cablevision remote turned my old tv on/off while controling the make over of channels and the volume...presently it only controls the silver of channels. I stipulation to use the remote that came beside the TV to turn it on/off and control the volume. I want only 1 remote to control everything w/o have to buy a universal remote. I'm unstop to all insist on. Thanks!
