Do different rechargeable battery necessitate undisputed chargers?

i just get a rechargable battey kit for x-mas its a kodak valur charger i a moment ago would liketo know if i were to buy the lithium chargeable battery could they be charged w/ this charger of do all rechargeable battery have near or need nearby own charger

Answers:    The chemistry of the different battery types requires different charging conditions. A NiCad charger won't correctly charge a NiMH or Li-Ion freestyle and vice-versa. If your charger is for Li-Ion batteries it should work but check and see that the voltage is correct until that time you try. You shouldn't try to charge a 3.6 volt Li-Ion battery contained by a 7.2 volt charger.
