The booklights that I have tried are any much too directional for work well for paperbacks, but not for intricate cover. I'm constantly moving the darn thing around the page. My eyesight is poor plenty, but I love to read. I've thought about getting the bookwedge, but enjoy heard it scratchs disappointingly. Please help and thank you (my husband - the sleeping make-up that he is - will thank you too. He has to capture up early, and I turn to bed late, so my wake him when I move the light I hold now, is keeping me from reading beforehand I go to bed.).
Answers: If you want a booklight that clips onto your book, Borders have a big variety. I get one called Mighty Bright and it runs on battery. It is lightweight and had an adjustable arm that hold the flimsy and the light itself can swivel, so you can move it to the bottom or side of the page w/o have to unclip it. Also they come in different colors! I get a purple one and I love it, it is the best booklight I have found!
