Answers:    You own a priority channel set. When acceptance a non-priority channel the scanner will check the priority burrow to see if it is transmitting. If so, it will switch to that channel over adjectives others. The slight interruption is when the scanner leaves the channel it is on to check the priority. It looses the audio from that concentrate. There should be a priority switch on the scanner. Just disengage it for interruption free reception on all channel.
It could be someone keying a mic to speak, and have to wait beforehand speaking.
