I enjoy 2 ancient Panasonic 8 track video players that don't shift from track 4 when I push the button.?

Is this a player problem or a tape issue? The button refuse to go adjectives the way surrounded by , there is resistance, so it would shift tracks. One of the players is the Panasonic TNT detonator. Is in attendance a fix?


Answers:    I would think its a player problem. Open the part up and give it a through cleaning & grease moving parts.
