My PS3 displays nouns but no video, what's going on?

I tried changing AV cable but that does not solve the problem.


Answers:    1. Turn off your ps3

2. plug surrounded by your original rca jack type connector and connect ONLY you video cable (yellow) to your tv

3. Plug connector into ps3

4. Power up your tv

5. Turn on toggle switch to ps3

6. HOLD the power button down for 5 second. You will here a beep and you will see an photo.

This will reset your ps3 output settings.
