I just bought one of these and be wondering if you could somehow TELL the gps what route you want to take? Like every road and turn that you want to product. I drive ambulance long distances and would like to program their routes so that I am never taking rear legs streets or highways.....Is this possible?
Answers: I'm more identifiable with the Garmin unit. With the Mapsource software you could setup specific routes by putting in waypoints for specific points and route through them, but if your going to do this, it sounds approaching you don't really need a gps. Where the GPS comes surrounded by handy is to route you to locations in location when you are not aware with the nouns. You could accomplish what you are looking to do with a well-mannered mapping box, and create route sheets.
