My dad desires a signal to resonance ratio meter for Christmas, what exactly is it and where on earth can i find one?

It also might me called a SNR meter or a signal strength meter. Thanks alot.

Answers:    Any radio shop that deal with CB's or HAM radio systems will hold one. A SNR meter is used for balancing radio systems to allow maximum power verbs from the device to the antenna, and from the antenna back to the device.
in good health, since signal is always propotional to hullabaloo, I would get him a calculator. If your dad really asked for this for Christmas, what he is really asking for is a bottle of jack daniels. Be a sweethart and grasp him one.
