Who's successful the format period of war? HD DVD or Blu Ray? Do you suggest the depiction standard justify the increased price
I'm interested in the format and would love to scrutinize some of the newer movies released on disc in Hi Def, but can't prove correct the price of one of their players until I'm quite sure one will be victorious over the other.
I suppose I could purely get a hybrid player.
What do you deliberate about the format period of war and whom do you think will come out the knockout... if it ends at all?
Answers: Currently,... I regard as it's a "toss up" between the two. One doesn't seem to be acquirement any ground over the other.
Personally I can't see the justification surrounded by price for the quality. At most minuscule not yet. If you own a decent small screen (plasma, LCD, HDTV) and an up-convert DVD player AND you're not a videophile... than you should be just as thrilled with a plain older DVD over a more expensive BluRay Disc or HD DVD.
If the price comes down on the discs to where they are around duplicate as current new release DVDs THAN I will start to consider buying a player.
I own noticed that the players are coming down contained by price at an almost phenomenal speed compared to past technology approaching VCRs, DVD payers, and Plasma/LCD TVs.
If your happy next to what you have very soon don't worry just about it. Wait out the Format War until a clear victor is contained by sight later decide on a player. I'm sure by after they will be down around the current price of a new DVD player.
Just dally until it's decided and the players are cheaply made surrounded by China.
