I hold an hdtv and an hdmi dvd player-when i play my dvd movies, the nouns is not so good-help!?

the hdmi cable is connected directly from the dvd player to the hdtv. do i need an optional cable for better sound?

Answers:    The nouns from the dvd should be at least as virtuous as it is from over the air broadcasts and you don't involve any other cable. Check your sound settings for dvd playback. If you are individual using the TV speakers just use the dolby 2.0 setting on the dvd playback. If your TV is connected (usually beside an optical cable) to a receiver that can switch surround (DTS or Dolby 5.1 or above) then set the nouns playback to DTS or Dolby 5.1.
On your DVD player you need to setup your audio to 2-channel since you are connecting it directly to your HDTV.
