Insane mobile?

Ok, so i was sitting within bed, and realized that my mobile operated alarm clock's battery-operated had fall out
so i went to put the freestyle back contained by, and when i touched it, it was INSANELY hot, approaching seriously burn your hand hot
the clock seem fine, although a little thaw, i presume from the battery...i picked up the battery-operated in a blanket and looked at it
it looked slightly expanded, but it be only clear because of the logo wrapping around it was starting to come stale a little bit...
i enjoy used that alarm clock for years and ive never had a freestyle do that before, what could be the rationale, and will it explode or something crazy like that?

Answers:    Typically, a hot mobile like this is due to an excessive nouns, a short circuit or something like that. If the clock is ok and another mobile works fine without overheating next the battery itself one-time in some whim. It's possible it shorted internally but this is quite in danger of extinction. The heat generate gases which cause the case to bulge.
