DVD player say 'loading' but doesn't work - any thinking?

I have a Matsui DVD player which is around 5 years old, it have worked fine all this time but yesterday I tried to nouns a DVD and it just said 'loading' and nil happened. I tried the usual unplugging and turning it on and bad, using different DVD's but nothing made any difference. Does anyone know if it is worth buying a lens cleaning compact disc (if that would make any difference) or should i newly buy a new DVD player?

Answers:    Get a straw and put it within the open module and blow this will remove a lot of dust and sh*t built up over the years, next a lens cleaner
Me personally...I figure out that you might have some nouns to it because you've had it so long but Wal-Mart is selling those things for 28 bucks...I wouldn't fade to run down there and grasp you one if I were you...sounds similar to this one has watch "Top Gun" for the last time!!

--if for some origin you think it's not the player, try those same DVD's on another tool (friend or relative)...
It may have be a copied DVD which the player couldn't recognise - have you tried any other DVD's?
