My mic isn't demo my voice or any other sounds. what going on?

my mic( headset mic) isn't recording my voice or any other sounds but i'm getting nouns out of the ear phone. i just purely recording to youtube the other sunshine. did i touch something in my PC setting? i can't remember if i did or not... PLEASE HELP!


Answers:    ok, besides checking the comprehensible (making sure it is still plugged in) try going to control panel, under Sounds and Audio. Click the tab Voice and after the button under the heading 'voice', and get sure that your microphone is checked. Possibly you muted it so that it isn't working.
