Anyone know how various mA's this speaker uses?

It is an IBM speaker with model number 02K0322. I can't find the AC adapter, so I tried a general adapter. The adapter had the right voltage but single puts out a maximum of 300 mA. The speakers work very resourcefully until I turn the volume up past a solid point, and the quality get terrible and the green power wispy flickers. I think that the wide-ranging adapter doesn't put out enough mA's to power the speakers at soaring volumes. Here is what it looks like: http://www.gadgetbee.com/i/ibm02k0322.ht...

Answers:    You are correct contained by thinking that the universal power supply is incapable of supplying sufficient power. 300 mills ain't gonna cut it. I don't know the power requirements, but jump here:

. They sell the speakers and some other power supplies. I bet they can hook you up near the correct one.
