Answers: i switched to dish from comcast because the promtional rates as economically as regular rates were better. HOWEVER dish messed up to mention all the invisible monthly charges. my 39.99 per month pkg was in actual fact nearly 60.00 per month. i switched back to comcast and immediatly notice the reception on my tv to be way better. no hdtv or digital tv any. my only gripe beside comcast is now 2 weeks after i switched vertebrae i got the digital starter pkg i lost a couple of channel as they changed the channel stripe up and in writ to get those channel back i enjoy to upgrade a level. i chew over its BS as i have one and only had the service 2 weeks and i have a feeling that since i paid up front for those channel i should get to keep hold of them at least til the subsequent billing cycle. also keep surrounded by mind that per a comcast csr it doesn't matter what the customer service in words tells you nor does it situation that their website still offers those channel with the pkg i bought. they enunciate fcc does not recognize spoken or internet offers. as for direct tv i haven't have that yet but if comcast pulls an added stunt i will cancel and try direct tv.
