What does 4volt dc and 100ma close-fisted?

These are the specs for an ac adapter I need. I enjoy another adapter that has 4.8 vdc and 350 ma. It does not fit within my light so I cant use it.

Answers:    It ability that when it is connected to a device that draws 100 mA, it will provide that device with 4 V of direct current (DC).

These adapters will provide a slightly superior voltage at lower current draws, but that is OK and won't hurt anything.

The mA specification is also intended to be a maximum working limit and should not be exceeded.
volt direct current and ma= MILLY AMPS!
