If you use a 12 volt adapter for an purpose that requires 6 v, will you fry the idea?

Will the stronger adapter damage it at adjectives or do anything? If so what will it do?


Answers:    Yep...or blow a fuse in it...and/or blow the adapter.

Stop by Radio Shack next to the device you need the adapter for. They are not too expensive and they will hook you up near the right one.
if i requires 6 v why use a 12 v don't risk damaging the purpose.its your call..
