Treo 650 Various Tech Questions?
1. Lagging. I will press, for example, Contacts and it will take several second to get to my Contact catalogue. (First thing I thought of be the memory, but it's fine I'm hardly using any of it.)
2. Have to use the headset w/ mic to talk to folks because they can't hear me with in recent times the mic on the phone. But, when I, and this is hard to explain, squeeze the phone together, it will work.
My question- Does anyone know anything I can do give or take a few any of these problems?
My warranty's up, I really do not want to buy a new phone. Any planning?
Answers: 1. Lagging. This usually happens when the Treo is clearing it's memory prior to initial up the "Contacts" application. If you use the Treo heavily, ie web browsing, checking emails, etc... wadding of several seconds may come to pass as the Treo gets rid of graphics, cookies, emails, attachments etc, etc.....
2. Internal contacts may be getting dirty so putting pressure around the mic and/or speaker may increase the volume.
If you are handy try some simple housecleaning inside the phone. Clean the mic and speaker contacts.
