I already own a PSP should I bring back a PSP 2000 (Slim and Lite)?

My old one is adjectives scratched up and I'm getting a wii should I buy a PSP 2000

No. That's purely overkill and a waist of good money. Just replace the cover of your PSP. It can be done. You'd be able to use the extra money for more relevant things... close to getting the latest hobby out for it! =)
