Blackberry vs Blackjack vs iPhone?

I'm with ATT. I obligation to upgrade my phone to one that allows me to check emails, internet access is not that important. However I am reading give or take a few wifi and if I have a phone beside it, I can make my call over the internet and save minutes from my ATT plan.

That one said, is it worth the added expence of upgrading to a phone with wifi such as the iPod and one of the Blackberrys?

I will be using a laptop in need the intercard, if my phone has wifi, couldn't i surf the net using my phone as a modem?

Answers:    If you are using it for business I suggest getting the blackberry or the AT&T Tilt. iPhone will not work as a modem. I know the Tilt does since I own one. If you are looking into getting the iPhone wait for a bit to see if a hot improved one is coming out. Mac World is within Feb. which Steve Jobs always like to announce new products.

But if you phone is for business I suggest getting the Tilt or backberry.
you can surf the network via your phone..i've been doing that. iphone is a great phone for trellis access kinda pricey though. I am a nokia fan, i simply had nokia cellphones and it's great. I bought my dad a palm treo and it's great too..
