I would like to own some kind of device: it must not use direct dash from a computer (pc), it should look like a palmtop, but palmtops are expensive. I call for that device to be able to write a record and then next to usb connection course book files would be transfered to a computer. The main item is that it really needs to be cheap. I lone need a article editor - no music, videos, other stuff... An fitness to apply a keyboard to it would be a benefit. Also, it is best if it would enjoy a rechargeable battery. Are in that such devices and where to find them? I can spend up to 50-60$ single... max 100$..
In conclusion it should be something like palmtop next to text editor with the sole purpose.

Answers: If nobody comes up near a solution, consider the forerunners of laptop computers. Something between a small electronic typewriter and a laptop. They could only display one or two lines of essay, but at least they worked. If you looked around some of the secondhand or welfare stores you might find something for $20 or smaller quantity. It's an option.
