Is the Palm Centro smartphone worth purchasing?
Answers: hi i would suggest not to invest in it,
i am a huge palm follower and own a Zire 72, and a lifedrive,
the company palm is currently developing a strange operating system for its devices that will work much much better then its previous ones (pretty much more or as powerful as PPC's, and it runs on linux, call the acess linux platform, and we all know how reliable linux is) and the palm centro is pretty much the ending of its "old operating system" products. it will be worth waiting, hopefully.
while sprint hs them on Dutch auction for $99.99, it has to be the most bang-for-the-buck smartphone out near!
i have the 755p, the centro be not available when i got it, otherwise i would own gotten the centro
I personally own had the Moto Q, Treo and Centro. I'll donate you my personal pros and cons of each.
Moto Q- not touch eyeshade and does not allow pics in set book messages,. *This is why I switched phones- i had to get to an email to send pics. Alot of steps to distribute out a simple photo.
Centro- Had this for a week. The keyboard is really smooshed together. Hard for those texting maniac like me. if you enjoy big hands or close to me wear acrylic nails. its rugged type Also this phone is very feminine.
Treo- LOVE IT. Touchscreen + nice baby grand + pic in manuscript msg + luv scrolling text messaging = great phone.
I guess really you should budge and see the phones in creature and see what I mean.
