Windows just stopped seeing my music adjectives of a sudden. the space is still taken and if opened seperately the mp4 player still works but I can't affix or delete any music from it while plugged in the computer...I've get all my music nontoxic on the computer as well so I lately figured I could format the mp4 player but what exactly will I be delete if I did so?... any unreplacable settings or system files?
Answers: use file explorer
find the storage card
delete MSMETADATA
delete wmdrm if it is here
close it
go to window media player
hit update library
it should put in all of your medium files back to where on earth they were
you can format it but anything else you hold stored on the card will be lost too
formatting means removing adjectives files for a fresh start, if you format it, you lose all notes you added like music and vids.
it is also used on computers to return with rid of viruses
