I want a device that will preserve sync beside Microsoft Outlook for calendar and email functions specifically portable??

This doesn't need to be a phone resembling a Blackberry or something because I want to keep it as inexpensive as possible...

Answers:    You want a PDA, or personal digital assistant. This can be a Palm Pilot or a Pocket PC. The pocket PC is a receiver also. PAlm devices can also be a telephone as economically. I use a Pocket PC myself I got it sour of Ebay and am very delighted with it. My service is through sprint and I hold my regular email forwarded to my sprint email. This way as soon as I receive an email I get a course book message that tells me I enjoy an email. I check my regular email through my cell/pocket pc and also respond too.
So knowing that jump to www.froogle.com or to http://shopping.yahoo.com/ and put in PDA and scrabble. There you can put in the parameter you want like 50 dollars and over. Then sort price low to lofty...

Good luck
Life is good!
A PDA will preserve up with your appointments and phone numbers, etc., but I don't regard as you can get your email from nearby without some caring of data plan. Unless you are only wanting to access your email off queue and then that might work. But for mortal able to draw from to your new emails, you will any need a blackberry or something similar. I bought a Treo from Sprint. I love the synching ability, being competent to get to adjectives my websites and emails live from there. Since it does not hold an external antenna, I do drop a few more calls than I did beside my old cheap cell phone, but the notes piece of it is great. I can access mapquest and many other applications. I wait for almost 2 years trying to decide what I looked-for and waiting for it to go on Dutch auction. Shop around, you should be able to find something, even if it is on ebay. HTH.
