How can i download Windows Mobile 6 on my Palm Treo 750??

I have a Palm Treo 750 and am using Vodafone as my possessor... I would like to download window mobile 6 onto it. I have found the palm website download, but it say that it is for 3 and vodafone carriers merely (which i thought great as i am with vodafone) but when i enter my serial number it say that it is invalid?? I then read the box that my phone come (i bought it outright) is and it has telstra written on the box? Does that penny-pinching that it is a Telstra branded phone even though my carrier is vodafone??

Does anyone know a agency around this problem??
