Answers: a nice free cd ripper is MediaMonkey. http://www.download.com/MediaMonkey-Stan...
once your cd has be ripped, you may need to convert the music into mp3 format, so for this you requirement another program..(unless you decide to spend the $20 and update to MediaMonkey Gold.. it includes an mp3 converter).
except use this http://www.download.com/Free-Mp3-Wma-Con...
once the files have be converted to mp3, start the usb connection, jump to the file where on earth the mp3s are stored (you may need to do a scrabble for them.. click the start menu, in the scour box type mp3. click SHOW ALL RESULTS. when the window open, select advanced search, select ALL LOCATIONS, click the database where the mp3s are.
give emphasis to them by dragging your mouse over them (i have no perception what you know about computers) while you are holding down the departed button, once they are highlighted, right click and select COPY.
now click the start menu and select COMPUTER (or MY COMPUTER).
select REMOVABLE DISK
click the MUSIC folder
once it open right click and select PASTE
do the same for the pictures, stick them within the PHOTO folder.
If you have no folders on your removable disk, surrounded by the psp, go to SETTINGS, scroll down and select FORMAT MEMORY STICK. this will create everything you call for.
i might as well add on videos to this.
YOU DO NOT STICK VIDEOS IN THE VIDEO FOLDER.
it doesnt generate sense, you will see an MP_ROOT folder, inside that folder, there are two more folders, 101anv01 and 101mnv01, stick them within the anv folder.
You need a USB cable which you can buy from your local retailer. You later plug in the USB cable which is located on the top of you PSP and plug the other failure of the cable to your computer. On your PSP, you go to USB mode which can be found contained by the very moved out upper icon of your PSP.
After that, you computer should detect the PSP. you click on your PSP's drive and in that should be a bunch of folders. You copy and pase whatever songs and photo's contained by the folders.
There are folders calle PHOTOS, and MUSIC. Once you open up your PSP's folder, it should be straightforward to find what file go into what. You also need to net sure that you have a memory stick surrounded by your PSP or unless you have a memory stick adapter built into your computer.
