How do you install .jad/.jar files on Blackberry Pearl using the Desktop manager? I can just install .alx files. Any help is appreciated- gratefulness.
Answers: .jad and .jar files are for over the air (OTA) installs, where on earth you use the BlackBerry browser to install them. You won't be able to install them using the Desktop Manager.
There is a program, however, created by Brandon Swift that converts jar files to alx files. Then you can use the Desktop Manager to install them. The contact is below:
