Lost Contacts after installing Palm's Update for Treo 700p. Any accepted wisdom?

I downloaded Palm's latest payment update; everything went fine, no errors and resetted fine. Peformed a hotsync to restore adjectives my files and information. Upon completion, everything appeared to come back except for my contacts info.

I've tried setting "Synchronize next to Handheld" and "Desktop overwrites handheld" for both Palm desktop and Outlook and it just doesn't want to overwrite the available contacts in my handheld.

This is so frustrating - Palm really screwed this one up...I'm almost set to leave Palm altogether. Any one else encounter this problem and found solutions?


Answers:    Set it to one and only sync contacts that might work. Are you using the palm desktop or outlook? If outlook go to assist then detect and repair. May enjoy to uninstall hotsync and reinstall it.
