Docking Station next to Sony Ericsson's trial 12-pin connector?
I inevitability helpagainst...
a) Utilities of pins 7 (Video/STB) and 8 (VPPFlash) of Sony Ericsson's new connectors.
b) The difference within use between pin 2 (Sp_REF) and Pin 9 (GND).
c) How to use the DFMS / DTMS and CFMS / CTMS functions.
Any helpers??
Answers: Pin 7: Not used all the same.. It's implemented for adjectives use.
Pin 2: SP_REF = Audio GND, use it for speakers.
Pin12 V+, Pin 9 GND
The phone will consider the accessory as a Hands-free, if you put a 170 OHM resistor between 8 and 9. But you will obligation a mic, because if someone calls you, the phone will use "Hands-free" mic for the ring up. BUT if you put a 820 OHM resistor between 8 and 9, the phone will provide Audio output. but if there's an incoming call, you may answer contained by the phone, not in the addition mic.
