vtap seems to work better and faster to me but you can't interested videos from ie mobile you own to search for them through it

You do not cancelled the warranty installing installing third party software .
The os is fixed
The only software that would is if you be to install a rom that isn,t the factory rom (replacing the original operating system)such as one that be from somewhere like xda developers and you would definately know you done it.

Of course you wouldn,t return with software support from t mobile on it because it isn,t a preinstalled software that they have You would capture that support from the software developer
It will work fine.
If you do not like it you can other remove it.
Flash media is not supported on Windows Mobile 6.0, so IF you affix 3rd party software to try to net it play, then you will do a couple things that are are costly and senseless mistakes on YOUR module. The most important is that you will invalid the warranty on your Wing. That means any little entry that goes wrong next to the Wing from the second you start the load process, even if it is not related to the 3rd participant software, is no longer covered under the warranty. This way that T-Mobile's tech reps will NOT be able to process any warranty exchanges for you, for any object.

Two: T-Mobile does not provide ANY technical support for 3rd get-together software. That means that their reps will own to refer you to the 3rd party software factory owner.

Three: Any network trouble tickets issued for problems in relation to You-Tube access will be closed because the Wing was NOT intended by the Manufacturer OR Microsoft (providing the OS) to support Flash Media at the time the Wing be introduced on the market.

So you can rob a $499.00 phone (MSRP, not counting the discount you may have gotten if you upgraded or are on your first contract and get the purchase subsidized) and turn it into an expensive paperweight. Just because you "know it is possible because you've seen it done" does NOT anticipate it is something T-Mobile supports or can provide support for or that the results will be worthwhile.

The best thing you can do is dawdle until a new social group of Operating system upgrade comes out that supports flash media that is to say specific to Microsoft's OS... OR wait until in attendance are new PDAs that enjoy YouTube software built in from the attain go. You will let go yourself a ton of headaches and aggravation, not to mention money!

Update 12/28/08. While Ghost may disagree, T-Mobile's National Repair Center tools are competent to determine whether 3rd party software be used after hard resets perform since remnants of the software are left losing after the hard reset (just as when one does a system restore on a Windows laptop.) So the device warranty still ends up voided no matter what!
Download the video ,next convert the video to other format for your PDA .

I use that program on my T-Mobile WIng and it's similar to a search engine for video from Youtube, Google Video, Matacafe and other similar sites. Nevermind granny above. If anything, you could always do a frozen reset which will return your Wing to factory condition. Besides, it's Windows. it was intended to run third event applications. I hope I've helped. Good luck!
