Blackberry sustain?

I have a blackberry 8700e to be exact supposed to act as a modem for my laptop and i am wondering why it is out of commission. I am on the sprint network.

it might just be because Sprint does not allow it. Go to allblackberry.com. they hold a link on thier page more or less connecting your berry to laptop and it has adjectives the codes and steps to do so. but again, it might just be because of your service providers, not adjectives providers allow you to do this.
