This is soooooo frustrating. I've been wanting a blackberry for a long time and merely recently bought one (the BLACKBERRY 1700g) on ebay and it say that it plays polyphonic ringtones and it also says "custom ringtones supports MIDI and ADPCM formats", what does that truly mean? I want to know how to play actual real tones on it near words. Is it possible to do that? And if so, how do I go roughly speaking doing that?
Answers: Not with the 1700g - the solely thing is supports is serious ringtones - you'll need to upgrade your 'berry for better ringtones. MIDI are chief ringtones as are ADPCM ones. No voices.
