I freshly bought a axim x50v next to window mobile 2003, when i put my sd card contained by it wont work but flash card does?

every time i put the sd card it wont find it, but it will find the flash card. i was wondering if someone have an answer for me, because i have alot of songs on my sd card and i would close to to hear it on my axim x50v thanks


Answers:    First of adjectives, I'd update the PDA to Windows Mobile 5 or 6. They're much better OS'es. Dell released an official update to Windows Mobile 5 but consequently discontinued the product, but there have been a hack image made and you can immediately install Windows Mobile 6 on your Axim. It requires an SD card though.

Try using another SD card. If that doesn't work, do a soft-reset by taking the stylus and pressing it into the little reset hole in the posterior of the device. It won't delete any of your files, it will just reset the OS (kinda approaching restarting Windows on a PC). Then try reading the SD card. Make sure the SD card is unlocked. I'm using a Toshiba 512MB SD card on my Axim X50v (WM6) right now, and listen to music in GSPlayer. Try resetting it first, afterwards maybe try updating it, as the modern OS may have better SD compatibility (I think the unofficial WM6 ad SDHC support).
