The iPhone's Bluetooth function can lone be used for a headset, no file transferring.

Can't do that any. You have to buy them from iTunes. There *is* a method to get free ringtones, but it requires extensive hack that the average user isn't used to, and could easily brick (ruin) their phone. So freshly buy them.
