Blackberry users?

ok if i buy an aol instant messanger application... do i need an internet plan to use it? and also can i use the phone lacking the internet packages? just texting


Answers:    Yes, you will have need of a data plan (I believe the generic background plan will work if you use AT&T or T-Mobile) in writ to use most IM applications. There are some older IM applications that use course book messaging to send the messages. OZ Instant Messenger be one.

And yes, you can use the phone without a notes plan. Some carriers will require you to go and get a data plan when buying a BlackBerry (Sprint and Verizon I believe; although some own reported being competent to get one in need a plan). You will be able to manuscript without a notes plan.
