I'm planning to get a up to date phone Sony Ericsson w950. Then it says it works beside 3g. My network is t mobile. Well one of my friend said 3g is purely a faster version of wifi and its free as long as your within a hotspot. Another one says i own to pay for t zone or something to use it. So, which one is it? Free contained by hotspot or pay to use it.

Answers: T-Mobile USA 3G will hit nearly Jan/Feb 2008. No way to use another 3G introduce yourself unless you have a dual sim connector inside beside a tmobile and ATT card in it.
