Palm Treo 680 and Ringtones?

I purchased a ringtone from the media shopping arcade and tried to download it but it says something close to media shopping precinct purchases are not supported. AT & T says they are and couldn't numeral out why I couldn't download it. They actually sent me one and I get it but when I tried to open it i get the same medium mall error message. So I entail a special card or what?
