Blackberry Curve comfort...?

I recently get a Blackberry Curve. While figuring it out have been fun (& somewhat challenging), in attendance is one part in the order of it that annoys me, & that is the notificiation messages I receive every time I send an e-mail. How do I stop these from coming? Thanks so much for your relief!

Are you using gmail?

I don't know what provider you're using. I use T Mobile and every time I sent an email next to gmail I'd get the message I sent within my inbox. To make it move about away, I logged onto T Mobile's web site to deal with my BlackBerry mail, select my gmail and added a filter to not forward any messages from me.
