How to Unlock a Blackberry Curve 8300 AT&T phone?

I would be purchasing a Blackberry Curve 8300 which i need to UNLOCK from the AT&T web so i could use it in INDIA. Could anyone guide me to unlock this phone.

Answers:    The phone will stipulation to be unlocked either by our owner (AT&T) or by a vendor who specializes within providing unlock codes. Contact AT&T Wireless' BlackBerry support first and see if they will give you the unlock code and instructions (I am on T-Mobile and they provide this for free). If not, you will requirement to contact a vendor and foot a fee for unlocking. GSMPhoneSource.com is a broker that does this.
