Can I IPOD Touch read PDF and HTML database? Not as an attachment of email, but close to a PDA?

I want to use it as a PDA. Can Ipod-Touch read PDF and Html file within local hard drive? Or Microsoft Word directory? Not as an email attachment.


Answers:    iPod touch comes with Safari, Apple's net browser, so yes it will read pdf and html files. It is a digital media player, not a PDA. So, you can browse the network, use iTunes, watch Youtube and other video.

I'm not sure what you mean when you read out 'read PDF and Html file contained by local hard drive'. You can sync some things next to your computer (see the apple support site for details).

You can update your contacts on the iPod touch and upload that to your computer but you can't update your calender on it.

BUT I do not own an iPod touch - I only know this stuff because I be trying to decide between it and the Nokia N800.
