Question in the order of PDA phones...?
Answers: I enjoy been using a pda phone since the launch of the Xda Exec (I'm London-based immediately but used to live and work in DC and be with Sprint and moved to T-Mobile). What you involve to figure out is what software you obligation for med school. I would articulate there are a great deal of med software for the Pocket PC platform and Smartphone as well. Once you own a list of your software, check online stores to see which platform your software supports (palm, pocket notebook, smartphone, symbian, etc) and from here you can then want on a pda phone model, which will coincide with which provider you will walk for that sells/supports the model chosen.
I now hold an HTC TyTN and is more than adequate for my wants, not to mention alot of software installed with no issues experienced so far. Have a read of handheld reviews as okay to aid you in choosing your pda phone. There are copious sources for these, both online and in magazine. My first stop if I were you would be Borders, sip your frapuccino and procure as much magazines as you can and start reading reviews. This road you can more or less dogmatic down your search, and afterwards match that near the software that you need for med college.
Good luck.
I originally thought that a PDA phone was the best instrument to go also. In my assessment this is one device that should always be kept separate. In the closing stages it comes down to what you need it for. some applications re solely available for the Palm platform which sadly have been contained by talks abouts selling its shares and closing and some programs are merely compatible for Windows Mobile, you should consider which programs you need (all of them) and see which ones are available. If you undeniably must have a smartphone I would progress with the Treo, I one-sidedly hate the (made for idiots) interface but its extremely effortless to use and install software, the browser really sucks though and doesn't support flash like window mobile does but both Sprint and Verizon have it and its impartially cheap as far as smartphones go. Of coarse as near all smartphones comes outrageous battery duration but hey style sometimes requires sacrifice ;)
