I was curious if nearby was a road or program where when you use the stylus to write it will automatically exchange to typing.If not with this model what model can you do that beside? I know I have see it before. I entail this mainly for notetaking to grasp rid of all of the loose quality newspaper and notebooks everywhere...Please assist!

The Zire PDA series has Grafitti software "built in" and does what you want.
Granted you own to learn the strokes, however, they are impressively intuitive and easy to swot. Once you get the swing of it you can "write" very swiftly and use it to take record.
Once you have the transcript in "Memo" or other Palm form, you can sync near the computer and work on it some more.
Or you can beam the "Memo" to another device and work on it further.
