In Pocket PC 2003, why don't the programs close when I hit the "X"?
There are a couple things I'm having trouble getting used to, especially how programs don't close when you close them. I don't draw from it. Why do I have to step into Switcher and close them. What a pain!
Answers: That is because the X is if truth be told a minimize. The screen is too small, so it getts stuff out of the method for ya! I just hand down everything open, but restart the phone every morning.
ypu can receive a great proper program closer here.. i think its made for wm5, but i bet it works on wm03.. i use it myself, because the minimising is crap lol

I be using WM5 before upgrading to WM6. In WM5 I go to settings - system - memory - running programs and then you can choose which program you want to close. In WM6 you touch and hold the X to close the programs. Try this out with Pocket PC 2003. One of the two should work.. I don;t reflect on a restart is required everytime you want to close a program
